WW2 Type 13 Tuning Knob For A R1155 Radio Receiver
This WW2 Type 13 Tuning Knob For A R1155 Radio Receiver, as used in the Lancaster Bomber, is in very good condition and looks to be unused.
NB: See attached image of a R1155, (not included), where the knob is marked by an orange arrow.
Comprising three parts:
- Metal shaft stamped ref. no. 90A-1260
- Central Bakelite Dial RAF stores reference 10A 14448
- Outer Bakelite Dial RAF stores reference 10A 14447
Where 10A = Miscellaneous Radio (Wireless) Equipment. It is rare to find the RAF stores numbers imprinted on all sections.
A perfect spare for the R1155 or a novelty WW2 desk ornament!
